Human Library - Foster Parent book

This Saturday, January 25, you can sign out Foster Parent Marie Fortier for a one-on-one conversation at the Human Library. Marie will be on the shelf at the Carlingwood branch of the Ottawa Public Library.


Over the years, Marie and her husband have cared for close to 40 boys in their home. Here, she recalls their first foster child.

Before Marie became a foster mom, she was a sergeant with the Canadian Forces. She credits her career with preparing her to be a foster parent.
