Award-winning Ottawa music producer and technician Ken Friesen

Ottawa blues band MonkeyJunk picked up 5 awards at the Maple Blues Awards earlier this week. Ken Friesen produced their album, All Frequencies, which won recording of the year.

 

There's no shortage of other artists Ken's worked his magic with as producer or engineer: The Tragically Hip, Carly Rae Jepsen, Hawksley Workman, Chris Brown and Kate Fenner, Gordon Lightfoot... We got to know the man behind the board.
