Grant Lawrence's Lonely End of the Rink

LonelyEndRink.Cover_FINAL.pngCBC Radio Music's Grant Lawrence has just published his second book, The Lonely End of the Rink: Confessions of a Reluctant Goalie. And in it, Grant describes broadcasting rink-side for the Hockey Summit of the Arts, which featured the somewhat, er, ragtag team the Ottawa Songbird Millionaires.

About watching the tournament, Grant writes, "I thought of how much of a thrill it was watching those teams play, how inspiring I found it." Inspiring because Grant's relationship with hockey in his younger years wasn't always thrilling...He joined us in studio to explain.
