Prayer service and concert for Typhoon Haiyan victims

It's been two weeks since Typhoon Haiyan ripped through the eastern seaboard of The Philippines and its central islands. Today, officials say the confirmed death toll has passed the five-thousand mark. 

On Sunday afternoon, Tinig Pinoy co-presents a fundraiser here in Ottawa to help those who affected by the natural disaster. All money collected will go to the Canadian Red Cross. 

Regina Sosing, co-organized the event, and joined Alan in studio with the details. He also reached Jennifer Navarro Egloff at her Ottawa home as she prepared to send care packages to her relatives in West Samar.
