Comedic writers reflect on writing funny

Behind every great sitcom or web comedy or late night talk show host...There's usually an equally great writer. Historically, writers have tended to be the unsung heroes of the comedy world: toiling away behind the scenes, churning out witty dialogue and plot twists without much fanfare...But is that all changing?


Tim Long is an executive producer and writer with The Simpsons. He'll be discussing his craft with Steve Patterson, host of CBC's The Debaters, this Saturday at Arts Court...And Andy Hull is a writer for the web series Space Janitors, which is up for a handful of Canadian Comedy Awards. Both joined us in studio.
