Newbie food truck owners fire up the engines and the fryers
Lines snaked around city hall at noon today, made up of hungry people, eager to get a taste of the city's new food trucks. There are 18 new trucks and carts set to spice up Ottawa's streets, fanning out across the city over the coming week. Some of them are run by restauranteurs, dabbling in street food. Some are run by food newbies - people who come from the world of say, investment banking, or accounting. We asked four truck newcomers into our studios. Wasi and Mubashir Choudhry own the Olive Green food truck. And Irene & Yuliana Quiñónez run the Royi Fruta Bar truck.
