Caroline Calve snowboard-slaloms to gold

calve.jpgIt's no stretch to call Caroline Calvé a trailblazer in the country's snowboarding scene. In 2011, the Aylmer native became the first Canadian woman to win a World Cup race in the parallel GS event. And this past weekend in Moscow, Calvé repeated the feat in the parallel slalom.

The win has raised hopes that the 34-year-old could be on the podium when parallel slalom makes its Olympic debut next year in Sochi, Russia. Caroline Calvé joined us run down this weekend's events and share her Olympic hopes.
