Robert reviews the Quartet
Robert Fontaine was in this week with his thoughts on Dustin Hoffman's directorial debut, The Quartet. He was a bit squeezed for time on the show, so his final sum-up was cut out, and so Robert would like you to know that, in a nutshell, "Dustin Hoffman is a great actor and this is a great cast, but Quartet is totally forgettable. And I feel bad criticizing a movie that's so gentle and good-natured. I feel mean-spirited -- it's like whacking Lassie on the nose with a rolled-up newspaper. I hope that for his next project, Hoffman latches onto something with some meat on it."
