Why the folding of the Canadian Conference of the Arts matters
Not everyone has a talent for sifting through budget documents and legislation, trying to figure out what they mean and why they matter. And not many visual artists, musicians or dancers would take the time to do so.
But since 1945 the Canadian Conference of the Arts has taken up that task. Only, tomorrow, the CCA will shut its doors. Our arts reporter, Kate Porter, has been looking into this story today, and joined us with the details.
