Young soccer champs will be heading to Poland

Trophy_EasternTeam.JPGThough it may not have made the headlines, an important soccer game played out in Toronto on the weekend. The game pitted two teams made up of some of the country's best young soccer players. One team was made up of girls and boys from eastern Canada. The other was made up of kids from western Canada. The prize: the chance to represent Canada at the Danone Nations Cup, being held this year in Warsaw, Poland. It was the Eastern Canadian team that prevailed, with a win of 4 to 0. Two local kids helped bring home the win. David Chung is the team's striker. He's from Ottawa. And Mollie Eriksson is the goal keeper and team captain. She lives in Greely.
