The Canadian Charter, now featuring beavers

A missing bagel turns the city of Montreal into a police state...Oh, and the citizens are all beavers.

It's the premise of a new children's book which aims to explain the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms to kids. The author is Dustin Milligan, a lawyer from PEI, who is in town to launch The Case of the Missing Montreal Bagel and five other titles in the Charter for Children Series at Ottawa Public Library on Saturday morning.
