Public safety minister weighs in on gun data

Canada's Public Safety Minister has ordered an end to the collection of sales data from gun merchants. That instruction came after Ontario's Chief Firearms Officer told gun sellers to continue keeping ledgers with personal information in spite of Bill C-19, the federal law that killed the gun registry. Alan spoke with Ottawa lawyer Solomon Friedman about where the debate over gun records goes from here.
