How Carleton is helping Alex 'bounce back'

It's no secret that the first term of university can be difficult for students still struggling to make the transition from high school to higher learning. A heavier workload, higher expectations, living solo for the first time...It doesn't always translate into academic success.

And that's what happened to Alex Foley. He's from Trenton and came to Carleton to study criminology and criminal justice, but he's had a few hiccups along the way as he figures out how to be in university. It has meant failing most of his classes in his first term, and so his predicament caught the attention of Carleton's new 'Bounce Back' program. Alex joined us on the show to explain how this program is motivating him to get back on track.
