Human Library wanders into the Spirit World

People call on Albert Dumont to help them with spiritual matters. One day he may be helping a palliative care patient pass into the Spirit World. The next, he's doing time in Millhaven Institution, advising Aboriginal offenders on how to rehabilitate their ways. On Saturday, January 28th, he'll be at the Main branch of the Ottawa Public Library to be a Book in the Human Library.

Dumont found his purpose in his life after becoming sober 24 years ago. He began walking on the road to sobriety after witnessing a scene in an Ottawa courtroom between a grieving mother and an impaired driver. Here he describes appearing in court on an impaired driving charge, and how it changed the course of his life.
