Find the Others' many-layered music

Andy Sheppard has, until about now, been well-known for his impressive guitar technique and folk-like songs. But now he's added another layer to his music, and a new name, too: Find the Others.

The new layer is actually multiple layers: found sound, snippets of voices, and other bits and pieces that add new texture to his work. Add in video art and a crack drummer to his live performances, and you've got a very interesting package. Andy stopped by our studio to tell us how he sampled, chopped, and wrote his way to the sound of Find the Others.
