The new Chemical Management Plan: what's lurking in your household products?

Toothpaste, shampoo, dish soap...you probably use them every day, without much thought. But they could contain dangerous chemicals.

Now, the federal government says it's taking new steps to protect you from potentially dangerous chemicals that may lurk in your household products. With a boost of more than 500 million dollars, the Chemicals Management Plan will look at hundreds of substances to determine the risks they could pose to your health, and the environment.
