Natural Resources Minister responds to the Keystone XL Pipeline protests
The fight to stop the Keystone X-L pipeline came to Ottawa this week, with about 500 protestors descending on Parliament Hill to argue that the 2,700 kilometre pipeline from Alberta to Texas is harmful to the environment.
Joe Oliver is the federal minister of natural resources, and he joined us to explain why the government supports the pipeline despite these environmental concerns.
