Should kids box?
A new warning, perhaps an obvious one, from pediatricians: boxing can damage kid's brains. The statement comes from the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Canadian Paediatric Society. They say doctors should discourage kids from boxing because younger brains may be more at risk of damage from hits to the head. But people in the boxing industry say the issue of youth and boxing is a little more nuanced than a simple outright ban. Chris Weissbach is the co-founder and head coach of WBK gym in Ottawa, and he joined us in studio to explain.
