Student Inshar Khan's poem stuns schools city-wide

It started out as an extra-curricular assignment -- a teacher at Ridgemont High School asked Inshar Khan to write a poem. Not only that, but perform it in front of hundreds of principals who were meeting in Ottawa. And despite his nerves, Inshar managed to hold the attention of everyone in attendance. 

Inshar's poem was supposed to be a one-off performance, but word about his rhymes spread quickly. And before he knew it, he started touring his poem around to school audiences all over the city. On Tuesday, he just wrapped up that tour before an audience of Grade 7s and 8s at Vincent Massey school. But Inshar, AKA I-Khan, agreed to an encore performance here in Studio 12.
