You could say that Claudia Kerkhoff-Van Wijk and Dirk Van Wijk have whitewater in their blood. Claudia is a ten-time Canadian whitewater champion kayaker and an Olympic bronze medalist, while her husband Dirk is also a national and international whitewater champion. Not to mention that they've raised some pretty competitive paddling daughters, too. And on top of that, Claudia and Dirk own the Madawaska Kanu Centre and OWL Rafting, where paddling through fast moving water is the order of the day. This year they're celebrating the fortieth anniversary of the family business, and they joined us in studio to talk 4 decades of navigating the waves.
