Thousands of Bison and One Buffalo Boy Descend on the Capital

Buffalo_Boy.jpgBuffalo Boy is a fixture at the Burning Man Festival in the Nevada desert. But on Tuesday, Saskatoon artist Adrian Stimson brought his fictional character to the opening night of Prairie Scene for a game of Blackout Bingo.

As the festival's artist-in-residence, Stimson's doing double duty at the opening night party in the lobby of the National Arts Centre. He's also symbolically re-populating the bison herds of the plains, with your help.

You can check out Stimson's work at the NAC lobby for the duration of Prairie Scene, and you can listen to Alan's conversation with this fascinating artist below.
