Ottawa Doctor Back From Haiti

Dr. Jo Houser had never seen a case of cholera up close. But this month, he treated dozens of patients a day with the disease. The Ottawa emergency room physician has just returned from Haiti, where he spent ten days with the group Medical Teams International.

Cholera patients lay on floor of a make-shift medical clinic. But they're the lucky ones. Some patients die on the side of the road while walking towards help.
