Wondering which party Liz Carter-Morgan was reffering to?
I've only seen 1 candidate's team doing the sign wave thing so far, and that was the incumbent Liberal's team. I agree, it was scary and dangerous, as they had a few people in the center median of 66th Street near the intersection with 34 Ave. It made it difficult and dangerous for those of us drivers who needed to turn.

You have to click on the 'Alberta Election 2008' icon at the top of the home page. After that, click on 'where do I vote' and then decide between urban or rural search. You type in your address and it will tell you exactly where you vote.

I'd just like to know where to vote. Elections Alberta website (www.elections.ab.ca) is useless. When I click where to vote it tells me:
• Each electoral division is divided into polling subdivisions, which are defined geographic areas. Eligible voters residing within each area vote at the polling station designated for their area
• During the election period, you can find your polling station at the Elections Alberta homepage and in local newspapers. In addition, notices are delivered to all residences in the province.
Basically the website states only the obvious and nothing that voters need. Why put all this money into advertising to get voters to make the commitment to vote on Monday, March 3rd, when no one makes the commitment to update a website so those that want to vote know where to vote?

Hello Jeff,
Thank you for starting the comments section for our riding. To respond to your question, I feel that Brian Mason of the NDP had a good debate. I think an undecided voter would have come away with a good understanding of our NDP priorities and platform, including our plans for building more affordable housing, capping rental rate increases, and removing big money's influence from Alberta's politics.
My favorite part of the night was when Brian Mason reminded the Liberal leader that his campaign does not match the Liberal voting record inside the Legislature. The difference between what the Liberals promise at election time and how they vote once elected is a big part of why I decided to run for Alberta's NDP.
Only the NDP will stand up for working Albertans in our next government. I hope the people of Mill Woods decide to make me a part of that team.
Thank you,
Christina Gray

I'm curious as to how each of the Edmonton Millwoods candidates feels about how their leader did in the debate tonight (Feb 21/08).
Political observers in Alberta are calling it remarkable and opposition politicians are wondering what hit them after Ed Stelmach guided his Conservative party Monday to one of its biggest majorities ever.
As Premier Ed Stelmach and Alberta Conservatives savour their sweeping election victory, some people are raising a nagging concern: why so few people bothered to vote.
Voters in Alberta stuck with tried-and-true blue, giving the Progressive Conservative party an unprecedented 11th consecutive majority government in Monday's provincial election.
