We're glad you brought up your point about posting the Leader Profiles of other political parties in Alberta, and it's something we would like to address.
In accordance with CBC's editorial policy, CBC carries the profiles of political leaders whose parties held a seat in the Alberta Legislature at the time of dissolution.
Under this policy, the Green Party or any of the other five political parties in Alberta doesn't qualify for a Leader Profile on our election website.
However, we are covering the Green Party in our regular radio and TV coverage.
We will link our website to the other parties, to make it easier for people to access information they want.
Hope this clears things up.

I am disapointed to see that the CBC 'Alberta Votes 2008' website does not include the Alberta Greens and other parties in the 'Parties and Leaders'section.(There are nine registered parties in Alberta that I am aware of). I once believed that the CBC always tried to provided accurate and complete coverage without bias. Now I find CBC is no different than the other 'major' networks. Too bad!! Maybe this is the reason fewer people are turning to the 'traditional' news sources for information. How does the CBC make decisions on what to cover....from CTV? Pity!
Political observers in Alberta are calling it remarkable and opposition politicians are wondering what hit them after Ed Stelmach guided his Conservative party Monday to one of its biggest majorities ever.
As Premier Ed Stelmach and Alberta Conservatives savour their sweeping election victory, some people are raising a nagging concern: why so few people bothered to vote.
Voters in Alberta stuck with tried-and-true blue, giving the Progressive Conservative party an unprecedented 11th consecutive majority government in Monday's provincial election.
