Trivia matters

So the good news is: among the CBC election reporters, I got the highest score on our election quiz. The bad news is: our webmaster asked me to write about it.
(Editor's note: Hey Scott, I prefer "online journalist.")
The pledge we had to take was that we couldn't use Google for the answers.
For the record, here are the standings:
- I got eight out of 10 right.
- My Edmonton colleague from CBC-TV, Kim Trynacity, nailed seven.
- Rick Donkers from Calgary CBC-TV scored six.
- And CBC radio legislature reporter John Archer pulled up lame with a three.
Perhaps being trapped in Alberta's beautiful legislature, John spends too much time on the here and now, and has no time for where we've been!
I remember the first time I read about the end of the United Farmers government.... wow.
I just wish that I had a better brain for math. If I hadn't booted that question about the length of the PC dynasty (A and B were awfully close), I would have scored a nine. And really, who knew the answer to the plebiscite question?
Try it out yourself and let us know how you did.
