Painting with metal and fire
When Colin Alexander was a kid, he was called upon to help his father around the house, and during one project became entranced with the colours copper made when a blow torch was applied to the metal.
He stored that information away, and when he became an artist he put it to work.
The end result is Copper Apparitions, a show opening at Gallery 22.
