Government wants a seat at negotiating table

The federal government has introduced a bill that will give it a larger role in labour negotiations with crown corporations such as Canada Post and the CBC.

Critics say it will threaten the government's arms-length relationship with those corporations, while others say it's a good idea because it will bring costs more in line with the private sector.
