Going south with The Grub-stake Revisited

thegrubstake_01.jpgIt took the efforts of a lot of Yukon artists to breathe new life into Nell Shipman's silent film about the Klondike Gold Rush, but the project is turning into a huge success.

The Grub-stake Revisited takes Shipman's original silent film, adds a new musical score composed by Yukon musicians and performed live, and a live script culled from Shakespeare.

The production will be traveling to Calgary, Ottawa and Toronto.
