Selling the NHL dream

Thousands of kids play minor hockey in Canada, many of them with dreams of playing in the National Hockey League, or earning a scholarship to a university in the United States.

Chasing those dreams are now a year-round job, and an expensive proposition.

Ken Campbell is a veteran writer with The Hockey News, and the author of a new book called Selling The Dream: How Hockey Parents And Their Kids Are Paying For Our National Obsession.
