U.K. hospital gets tough with patients
A recent study of 11 industrialized nations placed Canadians at the top of the list of people who were most likely to visit a hospital emergency room, and spend most of the time in the E-R waiting to see a doctor.
Some of those visits are unnecessary, and in the U.K. one hospital has launched a provocative campaign to encourage people to think twice before visiting the E-R.
