The search is on for Canada's best new artist

They're out there, working on their music in the basement or garage, playing to friends and families in clubs and other spots around town, and the CBC is looking for them.

Searchlight is a new contest designed to identify Canada's best new talent, reward them with some great prizes and expose them to a national audience.
