The mood at this year's mineral exploration roundup in Vancouver was upbeat, almost boisterous, thanks mainly to record spending on exploration in British Columbia.

There are differing opinions, however, on what the upcoming summer will look like in the Yukon.

Yukon Gold Comics ready to fly

guild_website_group_shot.jpgThey've worked, rehearsed and raised money, now the Yukon Gold Comics are ready to travel Down Under to the Adelaide Fringe Festival.

They're putting on a series of shows in Whitehorse to put the finishing touches on their act.

Collins takes over Dawson's School of Visual Arts

Dr. Curtis Collins becomes the new chair of the School Of Visual Arts in Dawson City on February 4, and he already has plans to expand the school.
