Spreading the good word of good music

Mike Stevens is one of the best harmonica players on the scene, good enough to have been in stage at the Grand Ole Opry more than 300 times.

But if you ask this accomplished musician what he is most proud of, he'll talk about a project that takes him far away from the spotlight, to Canada's North.

ArtsCan Circle works with small, isolated communities in Labrador and the Eastern Arctic. The story is captured in a new documentary called A Walk In My Dream, which is being screened in Whitehorse.

Click on the link below to hear Dave speak with Mike about the project, and with Grant Simpson and Kate Weekes about the screening in Whitehorse.
