Carving program seeking funding help
A few years ago members of the Northern Cultural Expressions Society - then known as the Sundog Carvers - spent 10 weeks on an island carving a dugout canoe.
It was an emotional and spiritual journey for the young aboriginal carvers and their families, and it was well-documented by a number of photographers.
Now, the society wants to turn those photos into a book, and they're looking for financial help from the community at large.
