Court issues important cyberbullying ruling
The Supreme Court of Canada has ruled a young woman can pursue a defamation lawsuit against someone who created a fake social media profile about her, without revealing her own identity.
The ruling is considered a landmark in the battle against cyberbullying.
Michael Deturbide is the associate dean at Dalhousie University's Schulich School of Law.
