Researchers back controversial AIDS plan

The Public Health Agency of Canada estimates 65,000 people are living with HIV in this country, and another 4,000 are infected each year.

Now, some researchers are suggesting the drugs use to treat HIV be given to people who lead high-risk lifestyles before they acquire the virus.

It's a controversial idea, says Airplay's house doctor Brian Goldman.
