Personal struggles become public battles

May is mental health awareness week, and the Yukon Anti-Poverty Coalition book panel has convened to discuss two books that focus on mental health issues.

Swing Low: A Life by Miriam Toews documents her father's lifelong struggle with depression.

Changing My Mind by Margaret Trudeau is an autobiography that details her battles with bipolar disorder.

The panelists are Ron Pond, Alyssa Beckett, Tom Ullyett and Charlotte Hrenchuk.
