How to avoid the dreaded audit

The deadline to file your income tax return for 2011 is fast approaching, and for most Canadians that will be the end of their dealings with Canada Revenue Agency for another year.

But others will be informed they're going to be audited, and with the growing number of self-employed people in this country, more audits are likely to be conducted.
