Canadian scientist joins esteemed group

Phil Currie is one of the best-known paleontologists in the world, a dinosaur hunter who has added much to our understanding of how life on this planet has evolved.

For his efforts, Currie has been awarded the Explorer's Club Medal, an honour that has been previously bestowed on the likes of Roald Amundsen, Edmund Hillary and Neil Armstrong.
