Exploring nature's role in the sinking of Titanic

We all know the doomed luxury liner Titanic struck an iceberg off the coast of Newfoundland and sank into the water 100 years ago, killing hundreds and starting a story that continues to fascinate.

But scientists now say some natural factors may have contributed to the historic event.
