Senior drivers are getting a bad rap

Canada's population is aging, and studies have shown older drivers are involved in a disporportionate number of fatal accidents, which leads some people to think our streets and highways are about to become a lot more dangerous.

Not so, according to medical professionals. They say a closer look at the research shows older drivers aren't as dangerous as some people make them out to be, and a graduated licensing system would answer other concerns.
