The markets as election prognosticators

The primary season is in full swing in the United States, and soon the Republicans will have their candidate chosen for this fall's presidential election.

Once that happens, the pundits will weigh in with their expert opinions on who will become the next president

But maybe you don't need to pay attention to them, maybe you just need to pay attention to the stock markets.
