Supreme Court ruling watched by AIDS activists

The Supreme Court of Canada is going to make a ruling that will draw a line when it comes to personal responsibility.

The ruling will decide cases in which people with HIV had unprotected sex with partners without telling them they were carrying the virus. That has led to several criminal cases, and appeals have brought it before the country's high court.

Patricia Bacon is the executive director of Blood Ties Four Directions, a group that advocates for people with HIV/AIDS and Hepatitis C.
