Harrowing journey inspires readers
Marina Nemat's life hasn't been easy.
Thrown into the most notorious prison in Iran at the age of 16, Nemat did what she had to do to survive.
Her journey eventually took her to Canada, and led her to write her memoir, Prisoner of Tehran.
It's one of the five finalists for this year's non-fiction edition of Canada Reads.
