Dawson City's Sourtoe Cocktail has become famous around the world. The idea of drinking a shot of booze with a pickled human toe in it has become legendary.

For author Ron Franscell and his son, it inspired a life changing road trip from Panama to Colorado and onto the Yukon.

"The Sourtoe Cocktail Club" is his new book that chronicles the adventure. It's billed as a father-and-son love story set against epic backdrops and overlooked places.
