The Yukon's Brandon Isaak carved out a prominent career on the Canadian blues scene with his band The Twisters, but he's going solo on his new record.

And unplugged.

Changing up styles required a lot of work for the veteran musician, but the proof is on the record: A Bluesman's Plea is a great disc.
