The growing gender gap in medical schools

Women now make up more than half the workforce in medicine and other health-related fields in Canada, according to Statistic Canada.

The same trend is developing in the United Kingdom, but there is concern there about the effect the gender gap could have on health care.

The Student British Medical Journal recently asked if the trend is going too far.
