Baby boomers stressing out health care system
A new report prepared for the Canadian Centre For Health Information shows that as many as 1 in 5 hospital beds in Canada are occupied by seniors who don't need hospital care.
That's having a ripple effect on hospitals throughout the country, leading to surgical cancellations and other backlogs.
Steven Lewis says money should be directed to things like home care to help alleviate the situation.
