Teaching kids the value of a dollar

According to a recent study, high school students in Canada seem particularly out of touch with financial realities.

The study asked the students how much money they figured they would be making 10 years after graduating from high school, and most said $70,000. That's about double the income of actual graduates.

Alison Griffiths is an author and financial expert, and she says the study is proof more Canadian young people need to receive financial literacy training.
