Author tackles music legend in new book

Dave Bidini doesn't have the greatest relationship with Canadian folk music legend Gordon Lightfoot.

Even though Lightfoot gave Bidini's band, The Rheostatics, permission to record his song The Wreck Of The Edmund Fitzgerald, he wasn't fond of the final result.

Lightfoot also didn't participate in Bidini's latest book, Writing Gordon Lightfoot, but Bidini pushed on with the project anyway.
